There are two free family-friendly shorebird festivals in September.

It’s time to Welcome the Shorebirds back to the Sunshine Coast!

During September, council is hosting two free family-friendly shorebird festivals.

You'll find two locations where you can learn about the amazing journey migratory shorebirds have taken to get to the Sunshine Coast

Dates and Locations

  • Golden Beach on Saturday, September 27 
  • Cotton Tree on Sunday, September 28

There will be face painting; yummy food; art; fun games; craft activities; live music and much more!
