Join millions of people reducing their plastic waste.

Plastic Free July™ is a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution – so we can have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities.
About the challenge
Plastic Free July™ provides resources and ideas to help you (and millions of others around the world) reduce single-use plastic waste everyday at home, work, school, and even at your local café.
Their movement has inspired 100+ million participants in 190 countries. You making a small change will collectively make a massive difference to our communities.
You can choose to refuse single-use plastics in July (and beyond!). Being part of Plastic Free July will help you to find great alternatives that can become new habits forever.

What you can do
Take the pesky plastics quiz
In less than five minutes, you will help to
• track the trends in the common plastics that households use
• discover all the plastics that ‘sneak’ into your shopping
• set yourself up to measure your Plastic Free July success
Head to the Plastic Free July site and take the quiz. Tell them what you do NOW, rather than what you hope to do as part of your challenge – they’ll invite you to do another survey in August to measure (brag about) your successes!
Make the pledge
By making a Plastic Free Pledge, you’re taking a step towards a Plastic Free Future. You can encourage and inspire others to do the same, by sharing your pledge on your social media. One small step by all of us together makes a big difference.
Simply choose the item you’re going to refuse this July, download, and print, the pledge card and take a photo with it to upload. Or skip that step and just upload a photo of yourself into one of our pledge frames on the next page.
Once you’ve uploaded it don’t forget to share it to your social media.
When you share your pledge including #PlasticFreePledge and tagging @PlasticFreeJuly on social posts will help spread the word.
