General Admission

Year round you'll find a range of events in the gardens. For nature lovers to music lovers and everything in between, check out what's on.

Secret Garden 

Secret Garden - a bimonthly event featuring local musicians, performing amongst the grandeur of gum trees. It's like a big community picnic - family friendly, super relaxed and a lovely way to wind down at the end of the weekend.

Tickets on sale now via Eventbrite and strictly limited due to Botanic Garden car-park capacity. 

  • $20 per adult, $5 children and young people, children under 5yrs are free.

Gather your favourite friends, pack a picnic and enjoy live music in the Sunshine Coast's very own Botanic Garden. BYO chairs or rug, leaving only footprints and taking only memories (no rubbish bins provided).

Yoga in the garden

Yoga in the garden - an all-levels vinyasa flow is designed for everybody – whether you’re brand new to yoga or a regular mover, you’ll be guided through a gentle yet energising sequence to connect body, breath and mind.

  • When: Every Saturday, 8am - 9am (45 minute minimum)
  • Where: Sculpture Garden. Parking is recommended in the upper part of the Garden, above the Arts and Ecology Centre.
  • Cost: This class is a part of the Healthy Sunshine Coast program. Register for free  here  then pay $10 per class, or $5 with Health Care or Pensioner's Card in cash on the day. 

Reconnecting with Nature

Reconnecting with Nature is a perfect Sunday opportunity to reset your body and mind at the Botanic Garden.

Inspired by the principles of nature therapy, join Jay Ridgewell from Held Outside for a gentle exploration of the surrounding bushland. Centred in and around the Sculpture Garden, this peaceful and inclusive experience features guided wanders, grounding practices, creative activities, and opportunities for meaningful group connection.

  • When: 1st Sunday of the month, a mindful morning in the Sculpture Garden
  • Cost: $10 per session or $5 for pension or healthcare card holders.

Great Botanic Race

Great Botanic Race - This self-guided orienteering activity is a great way to enjoy an active, all-ages day at the Botanic Garden. Older children and teens love racing their friends and solving the puzzle while they explore the bushland.

Grab a map at the information wall (near the lagoon crossing) in the lower part of the botanic garden, or download and print before you come.

Bushland Holiday Program

The popular Bushland Holiday Program is full of fun, crafty and adventurous activities, where nature is our classroom, teacher and inspiration.
