Enjoy a guided walk through a bird watchers' paradise at Maroochy Wetland Sanctuary.

Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary is a significant habitat for many amazing species of birds from the beautiful azure kingfisher to the stately royal spoonbill.

Join expert birder, Rob Kernot, for a guided walk through the Sanctuary to see what winged wonders you might find in this bird watchers’ paradise.

Come dressed for a walk outdoors with comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and insect repellant. Bring a water bottle and your own binoculars (if you have them).

This walk is suitable for all ages. Walk numbers are limited and bookings essential.

Stick around afterwards for morning tea with the Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary Supporters Group (10-10.30am).
