Explore, Learn & Connect with Nature

Join a diverse program of guided walks, talks, and nature experiences, led by passionate local experts and environmental groups. Whether you're a keen botanist or just love getting out in nature, there’s something for everyone.

Events range from free to low-cost and cater to all ages and abilities. Bookings are essential as spaces are limited.

Prefer to go solo? Download the self-guided walks brochure and choose from ten stunning trails managed by Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. Explore wallum heathlands, woodlands, wetlands and more at your own pace.

A Festival with deep roots

Since 1967, the Wildflower Festival has been a celebration of our natural heritage, inspired by conservationist Kathleen McArthur. It continues to highlight the unique and diverse flora of the Sunshine Coast and encourages us all to protect what’s precious.
