is a feature-length documentary that explores the effects of helium balloons on the environment, wildlife and human beings.
Join your Clean Ocean Heroes and Director Carly Wilson for a free family friendly movie screening of Rubber Jellyfish.
This Plastic Free July, Sunshine Coast Council is offering a free community screening of Rubber Jellyfish.
Rubber Jellyfish explores the surprising damage that helium balloons are causing to our marine life and features a number of local clean ocean heroes that
assisted Director Carly Wilson with a collection of rubber jellyfish balloons that were collected from our local beaches.
A Q and A session with Carly and our Clean Ocean Heroes will take place after the screening to discuss local source reduction ideas.
The event will be hosted by Immanuel Lutheran College from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Sunday 21 July.
This event will follow on from the beach clean up we will be hosted at Alexandra Headland from 2:30pm
