How to grow microgreens in minutes

Did you know you can grow fresh mini herbs and vegetables in a tiny container that you can harvest in just 7-21 days with a pair of scissors? Curious to know how? Learn all about the benefits of growing and eating Microgreens, healthy ‘fast food’.

At this demonstration, you'll discover easy ways to grow miniature herbs and vegetables at home, how to use in cooking, and the health benefits!

OUTLINE:

During the presentation, I will:

  • • share the health benefits of microgreens (digestive enzymes etc);
  • • explain how to use in meals (e.g. in green smoothies/raw juices, as a garnish, in salads);
  • • bring samples of seasonal colourful herb and vegetable microgreens for the audience to taste test;
  • • demonstrate how to sow microgreens seeds in a tiny container and grow in 7-21 days;
  • • show how to harvest and grow on in the garden;
  • • giveaway a mini microgreens kit for someone in the audience who I'll get to volunteer as part of the demo;
  • • provide free handouts including organic gardening guides for the audience with information and details about microgreens seeds and kits.
