From 17th - 19th December Montville Christmas Wonderland opens to the public for the first time since 2019. This will work a bit differently partly due to Covid and partly due to restrictions placed on us by Sunshine Coast Regional Council.
There are 24 locations with council decorated trees adding Christmas cheer to our local communities. All council decorated trees use LED lighting to align with council’s commitment to sustainability.

Bookings open November 24 for council’s latest Christmas offering, which will see the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens, in Tanawha, transformed into a Christmas wonderland from December 17 to 21.

Compostable or upcycled tinsel alternatives Christmas is a perfect time for crafting! Get creative and make beautiful upcycled, compostable, plastic-free garlands and decorations. Handmade decorations can be made from fabric, magazines, catalogues, newspapers, old letters or unwanted books.
Sunshine Coast Council invites you to attend The Festive Garden, a free walk- through Christmas Lights experience. A shuttle service will take you to and from this experience.
Sunshine Coast Council is encouraging the community to support our local businesses by shopping at a store with a door this Christmas. Sunshine Coast Council Economic Development Portfolio Councillor Terry Landsberg said when our community bought from a local shop, they were supporting much more than just the local economy.

Love your Leftovers Veggies = Frittata Bundle those leftover roasted veggies into a frittata by adding some eggs and cream. Use up all those leftover herbs and add a couple of tasty items such as capers or anchovies, olive oil and lemon juice to make a sparkling salsa verde to add zing to your frittata.
