There are many ways to participate in Sustainable House Day this year. At Renew, we're hosting four themed weeks of webinars with sustainability experts and homeowners. beginning on 21 September, as well as a program of free online events on 17th October.

All our online events on Sustainable House Day, 17 October, are free — you can register for the day here. Expert Sessions throughout the month beforehand are ticketed individually or you can grab a pass for all sessions for a discount.

In addition to these events, a network of community partners around the country will be hosting their own in person and online events as part of Sustainable House Day. Check out a selection of these events below, or see the full list here.

Community Partner Event

Jess and Bryan’s strawbale house

• 15-Sep 12:30pm – 1:30pm (AEST) • Online, details here

In this one-hour session we will meet Jess and Bryan, who have built their own sustainable strawbale house from scratch on a budget near Buninyong. We’ll also chat with Ballarat couple, Peter and Sandra, about how they retrofitted their 1990’s subdivision to make it an efficient, all electric sanctuary.

Site selection and building to your budget
