Join Sea Shepherd as we participate in the #PlasticFreeJuly 2021 challenge at our Alexandra Headlands Clean-up.

July has become the month to create awareness of the environmental problems associated with plastics, in particular single-use plastic products.

If you’ve never been to a beach clean-up, then this is the one for you!

50% of all plastic produced annually is made into single-use products, used for around 12 minutes on average. A large proportion of these items find their way into our waterways—we want to remove them before they get there and we need your help.

You can help protect our beaches, oceans, wildlife and the planet by joining us on Saturday 24th July 2021.

Keep your eyes peeled for a *SURPRISE* plastic free additional event at this clean-up, it will be announced here soon.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday 24 July 2021

Location: Alexandra Headlands, next to Alex surf club.

8.00 am Contact-less registration starts and Event commences with a safety briefing.

10.00 am Event concludes.
