HAVE YOUR SAY on the future management of our coastal areas

Our coastal areas form an integral part of our Sunshine Coast identity and lifestyle, and are fundamental to the future of our economy.

Over the past 18 months Council has been working with the community to develop a long-term Coastal Hazard Adaptation Strategy to help manage the impacts of coastal hazards like erosion and inundation, to increase the resilience of our region.

This is your chance to provide further feedback on the Draft Coastal Hazard Adaptation Strategy to help decide how we manage coastal hazards in the future.

There are a number of ways you can have your say:

  • Review the Draft Strategy and interactive mapping online
  • Join us via an online webinar to learn more, ask questions, provide your feedback and chat to the project team
  • Come along to one of the open house sessions - for a range of interactive displays, try out the wave tank and speak with the project team.
